Looking through the collection of photos there are several obvious topics or themes which can be spotted, this page highlights a few of them...

Schools

Harrow School - The dominant part of the collection is of Harrow School and the boys who have attended across a 100 year period.

John Lyons - Also on the hill, a second public school linked to John Lyon the founder of Harrow.

Orley Farm - A prep school on the hill.

Harrow County School - a local state school

Churches

St Mary's - The parish church built at the top of the hill, famous partly for Byron lying on tombs creating poetry

Christ Church Roxeth - Also on the hill, a church plant from St. Mary's in the 19th Century

    New scanner here - have scanned first 10x12 inch plates - they take a long time! but great to start the slow process of adding these photos
